Frequently asked questions
General Information
Contact us for a free 15-minute phone call to discuss the patient's needs and to determine whether further evaluation is warranted. Please note that we are unable to make any diagnoses over the phone and due to time constraints, we will only be able to answer basic questions. Any further questions or detailed advice will require scheduling a full assessment.
We encourage you to write any questions down before the phone call in order to utilize this time in an efficient manner.
Private pay patients do not need a referral to receive our services. However, if you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement, your insurance carrier may require a physician's referral. Please contact your insurance carrier for additional details.
For Louisiana Blue Cross Blue Shield patients, a physician's referral is required.
If you would like to access services through the Louisiana EarlySteps program (for children ages 0-3), a referral is required. Please contact us for help with this process.
At Bloom Therapy Group, we value transparency, especially when it comes to pricing. That’s why we publicly list all of our service rates on our website. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Please see services to view our full, up-to-date rate list.
If you have questions about what type of evaluation or therapy is the best fit for your child or family member, feel free to contact us - we’re happy to help guide you.
We are in-network with Louisiana BCBS. For all other insurance plans, we are currently a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance directly.
We accept all major credit cards, as well as FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) and HSA (Health Savings Accounts). We also offer payment plans and package options to make therapy more accessible - please contact us if you’d like more details.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to provide a superbill after services are paid in full, which you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. However, we do not bill insurance directly or assist with any insurance-related paperwork or disputes.
We also provide services through Louisiana’s EarlySteps program, which is a state-funded early intervention program for children ages 0–3. If you are interested in EarlySteps services, please contact us directly for more information on how to get started.
Payment for therapy services is due at the time of service.
We accept all major credit/debit cards, FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts), HSA (Health Savings Accounts), and offer automatic payment options for your convenience.
