How do I get started?Contact us for a free 15-minute phone call to discuss the client's needs and to determine whether further evaluation is warranted. Please note that we are unable to make any diagnoses over the phone and due to time constraints, we will only be able to answer basic questions. Any further questions or detailed advice will require scheduling a full assessment. We encourage you to write any questions down before the phone call in order to utilize this time in an efficient manner.

What ages do you serve?At Bloom Therapy Group, we serve patients of all ages, from birth to adults. For children ages 0-3, we offer parent/caregiver education and therapy pre/post release of a tongue-tie and/or lip-tie, in addition to feeding therapy, oral motor therapy, and speech/language therapy. For children ages 4+ who are appropriate candidates, we offer speech therapy and a customized orofacial myofunctional therapy program. For older children, teenagers, and adults, we offer a customized myofunctional therapy program.

What areas do you serve?We provide in-home therapy within the entire greater New Orleans area up to 50 miles. We also offer virtual therapy for the entire state of Louisiana.

Do I need a referral to begin services?You do not need a referral to receive our services. However, if you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement, your insurance carrier may require a doctor's referral. Please contact your insurance carrier for additional details. If you would like to access services through the Louisiana EarlySteps program (for children ages 0-3), a referral is required. Please contact us for help with this process.

Do you take insurance?Bloom Therapy Group is a private-pay clinic and does not belong to any insurance networks. We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards. We also accept payment from FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) & HSA (Health Savings Accounts). We can provide a superbill upon request. You may submit the superbill to your insurance company for any reimbursement you may be entitled to based on your coverage. Most families with out-of-network benefits for speech therapy typically receive partial reimbursement. If you are interested in services through the Louisiana EarlySteps program (for children ages 0-3), please note that this is an insurance-based program. Insurance is accepted for speech, language, and feeding services provided through EarlySteps. Please contact us for more information or assistance with this process.

When are payments for therapy services due?Payment for our therapy services is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, all major credit/debit cards, and automatic payment options for your convenience.

Are you services performed on-site or in the home?We can provide therapy in schools, daycares, and homes. We also offer services in-office. Please contact us for more information about receiving services in any of these settings.

How long should therapy services last?Therapy timelines will vary because each client will have different needs. Our pediatric specialists perform an initial evaluation where they will create a personalized treatment plan.

Do you offer speech and language therapy?Yes, we offer speech and language therapy for infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) through the Louisiana EarlySteps Program.
